Just imagine, Stefan and Katherine are in love and Stefan admits he never unfell for her and always loved her but just was in denial and everything seems to be going well.
And suddenly someone attacks Stefan but Katherine protects him and she’s dying.
And he tells her that he loves her and that she can’t be dying. And she says “Stefan, it’s okay, I’m dying for love.”
And Stefan leaves town being sad and says that he doesn’t regret dying for Katherine when he was human and that it was both the best and the worst decision he’s ever made because he died for love but he can’t take the pain of losing Katherine.
